Reconsideration Applications

Applications for Reconsideration

Any party to an original decision made by the Appeals Commission can apply for reconsideration. A reconsideration application must be made in writing and submitted to the Appeals Commission.

In order to apply for a reconsideration, you must provide substantial reasons justifying your request, such as:

  • new information that is substantial and was not, within reason, available at the previous hearing, or
  • evidence of misapplication of policy or legislation, or
  • evidence of procedural error.
